Co-owners Maricar Lagura and Christian Ritter began roasting as Noe Valley Coffee in 2014. In 2020 they turned Spin City Coffee, a coffee bar at the front of a laundromat, into Noe Cafe. That year Ritter roasted every batch, with sourcing focused on Latin America. The cafe's site lists a Dolores Street Blend of Guatemalan and Ethiopian coffees and a Mexico Chiapas organic.
At the corner of Sanchez and Clipper, a Diedrich roaster stands in the room on a walnut table, with a palm mural on the wall behind it. Sidewalk tables line two sides of the corner, and a covered patio sits beside the building.
